About this role
Our rapidly growing Gore Medical business is seeking an Instructional Design professional to join the Global Sales Education team. The role involves partnering with subject matter experts (SMEs) to scope, design, execute and maintain learning paths, programs, and experiences. It calls for sophisticated program development and the ability to creatively translate product, technical and business acumen concepts across the range of blended learning methodologies (instructor led, eLearning, on demand, just-in-time, etc.)

This position will be located a facility in Phoenix, Tempe, or Flagstaff, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify and define performance/learning needs and objectives and consulting with them as to the most appropriate deliverables to meet those objectives in alignment with Sales Education, Sales, and Marketing strategies
  • Manage and executing the end-to-end program design, hands-on development, implementation, and evaluation of training deliverables and ensuring timelines and approval processes are met
  • Lead projects through the design and development lifecycle from analysis, design, development, and launch, providing clear timelines through all phases of development
  • Create visual learning materials that translate complex information into clear, engaging branded content, using adult learning principles to ensure relevance, retention, and performance improvement 
  • Partner with Sales Education team members, sales, and marketing teams in regulated medical environments to develop training and learning programs for global implementation

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the Instructional Design/adult learning theory or related field; including 1 year of experience project managing and owning learning program development
  • Experience designing and developing learning experiences for global audiences and customizing it to meet business needs
  • Demonstrated experience applying adult learning and instructional design principles to create engaging clinical, technical content and experience based learning
  • Demonstrated experience with the full Articulate 360 suite authoring tool
  • Ability to identify performance gaps through needs and task analysis
  • Ability to support the implementation of a strategic training and development plan aligned to business objectives
  • Ability to evaluate and assess training effectiveness and business impact
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and/or related SCORM or MS Office 365
  • Experience with video, audio, animation, graphic design and/or AI simulation authoring tools
