We are looking for an Instructional Designer to join our team to help create and maintain new hire training content and ongoing up-skilling training. The instructional designer will need to help facilitate training and is required to be in the office 2-3 times a week depending on location.

What you'll do:
  • Identify the performance, skills, knowledge, information and attitude gaps of our customers and create, select and/or suggest learning experiences to fill this gap.
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content 
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify training needs
  • Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design 
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, worksheets, etc.)
  • Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
  • Support Senior Instructional Designer in gathering training evaluation data and identify and act on areas of improvement
  • Maintain the new hire material update tracker and delegate updates as needed
  • Maintain and manage content in Cornerstone
  • Conduct train the trainer (T3) for Learning Specialists
  • Collaborate with Service Design, Knowledge Management, Quality, Quality Data Analyst, MA/Care Nav/Claims Ops /Plan Ops Eligibility Leadership (and others).
  • Provide instruction design services across different modalities as needed (face-to-face, virtual, hybrid, classroom, eLearning Huddle etc.)
  • Act as Learning Specialist back up to facilitate sessions where needed

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Proven stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
  • Expertise in lesson planning and curriculum design, grounded in sound instructional methodologies
  • Strategic thinker with the confidence to make bold, informed recommendations
  • Passion for continuous improvement and a proactive mindset toward optimizing learning processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to crafting high-quality, learner-centered curricula, programs, and experiences
  • Deep enthusiasm for delivering world-class training and fostering lifelong learning
  • Working knowledge of eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • 2–3 years of demonstrated experience in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field
  • Strong grasp of instructional design frameworks, including ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, learning styles, and problem-based learning
  • Familiarity with modern corporate training practices and emerging trends in workplace learning
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
 
Pay Transparency Statement 
This is a hybrid position based out of one of our offices: Plano, TX, or Lehi, UT. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office three days per week (Plano, TX) or two days per week (Lehi, UT).

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
