Responsibilities:
What your day to day might look like:
  • Curriculum Development – Work closely with executive leadership, SMEs, and operational teams to assess learning needs, develop instructional materials, and implement role-based onboarding, compliance training, and business-critical learning experiences. Design and develop interactive training courses, both in-person and online, that align with company goals and industry best practices. Ensure training programs are in compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Onboarding – Support the execution of new hire onboarding, leadership development programs, and ongoing employee training initiatives.
  • Content Creation – Produce engaging learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructional videos, job aids, assessments, and blended learning solutions.
  • LMS Management – Upload, manage, and support training content within the company’s Learning Management System (LMS). This role will be an admin for the LMS platform that includes continued enhancements and CSS development. 
  • Collaboration – Work closely with corporate departments, Regional Training Directors, subject matter experts (SMEs), department leaders, and HR to ensure training content is relevant and up to date.
  • Communication – Assist with deploying and sending out company communication on central channels. Partner with HR, marketing, and technology teams to ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and technological integration.
  • Initiative Deployment – Assist with all steps needed for training department-related initiative deployments, rollouts and major updates. 
  • Evaluation & Enhancement – Continuously assess training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and learner engagement data, making improvements as needed.
  • Compliance & Standards – Ensure all training materials comply with company policies, industry regulations, and accessibility standards.
  • Innovation – Stay up to date on industry trends, adult learning best practices, and new technologies to enhance training delivery. Leverage the latest training technologies and methodologies to enhance the learning experience, including gamification, microlearning, and interactive elements.
  • Culture - Provide support during national-level conferences, meetings and events as directed by the National VP of Training & Marketing or National Training Manager.
 
Qualifications:

We're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, Instructional development, or corporate training, preferably in the multifamily housing industry.
  • Preferred experience in storyboarding, motion graphics, or video development for microlearning experiences.
  • Proficient in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM compliance.
  • Strong visual design and multimedia skills, including experience with graphic design and video editing software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning and development.
