Instructional Designer Senior
As a senior instructional designer for our Claims organization, you’ll lead the design and development of training projects for the business. In this role, you’ll create design documents, project timelines, and action, communication, and evaluation plans. Using defined industry tools, you’ll apply Instructional Design standards to maintain and measure training courses and resources. You’ll create and evaluate learning measurement strategies related to course design to assess course effectiveness. Additionally, you’ll develop instructor-led courses, train-the-trainer programs, and pilot classes and provide recommendations for improvement and feedback to trainers.
This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office for a meeting and/or training. If you are interested, you’ll also have the option to work a hybrid or full-time office schedule depending on your location.
Must-have qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of five years instructional design/development, teaching/training delivery, web design experience or responsibilities that involve performance improvement initiatives.
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of two years instructional design/development, teaching/training delivery, web design experience or responsibilities that involve performance improvement initiatives.
Preferred skills
- Strong understanding of Articulate 360 with practical experience
- Two or more years’ professional instructional design experience
- Experience with ADDIE, SAM, or other instructional design frameworks
- Familiarity with iterative design processes, including rapid prototyping
Compensation
- $75,000 - $90,000/year
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
