Job SummaryThe Senior Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of effective, engaging, and scalable learning solutions that support Marcone’s strategic goals. This role partners closely with business leaders, HR, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to assess needs, design impactful content, and implement programs across modalities. The ideal candidate brings expertise in adult learning, LMS administration, and project management, serving as a key contributor to employee development, onboarding, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
Essential Job Duties
Partners with business leaders, HR, and SMEs to assess learning needs and define strategic learning objectives.Designs and develops effective learning solutions, including eLearning courses, instructor-led training, microlearning, videos, job aids, and guides.Applies instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE) and adult learning principles to create engaging, results-driven learning experiences.Manages and maintains LMS content, enrollment, reporting, and complex technical troubleshooting.Reviews, updates, and improves existing learning materials to align with changing business needs, systems, and best practices.Supports and facilitates training delivery through multiple modalities (virtual, in-person, blended).Leads improvements to new-hire onboarding training programs to streamline and enhance employee experience.Analyzes learning data and feedback to evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.Proposes and implements new L&D processes and workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality.Pilots, evaluates, and recommends new technologies and tools to enhance the learning experience.Maintains and prioritizes the L&D project list to ensure alignment with business goals and accountability for deadlines.Mentors and provides guidance to junior team members to support their growth and ensure quality outcomes.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field.5 or more years of progressive experience in Learning & Development or a related field.Proven experience assessing learning needs and designing effective learning solutions using adult learning principles.Demonstrated LMS administration experience, including content management, enrollment, reporting, and technical troubleshooting.Strong consulting skills: ability to ask critical questions, identify gaps, and recommend practical solutions.Excellent facilitation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.Collaborative and team-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to build influential relationships across all levels.Strong time-management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.).Comfortable with technology and experienced with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise) preferred.Familiarity with LMS platforms, preferably Litmos.
