Job Description

Responsibilities

Noblis is looking for an Instructional Systems Designer to support critical national security missions.
 
In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts and clients to identify learning requirements and recommend solutions that enhance mission effectiveness. As an ISD, you will apply learner-centered principles to develop engaging experiences, including both synchronous and asynchronous materials, as well as performance support tools designed to improve outcomes while minimizing time away from mission responsibilities for learners.
 
At Noblis, you will gain exposure to industry leading expertise and subject matter that is transforming the tradecraft and overall mission effectiveness for our Intelligence Community clients.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Building from ADDIE and SAM models, you will use your expertise and creativity to design engaging, interactive learning experiences, incorporating AI where appropriate.
  • Utilizing your strong communication skills to engage regularly with stakeholders to gather input, identify innovative delivery approaches, and incorporate feedback throughout the development process.
  • Gathering and analyzing outcomes using established evaluation methods—such as the Kirkpatrick Model—and using those insights to refine and enhance solutions, driving continuous improvement to ensure learning solutions are effective and aligned with expectations.

Required Qualifications
  • US Citizenship required
  • Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI Poly.
  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience - OR - associate's degree with 6 years of experience.
  • Experience working with subject matter experts and clients
  • Experience conducting detailed training and/or job/task analyses
  • Experience designing products that are Section 508 compliant
  • Experience on a team of instructional designers, graphic artists, and programmers in a client-focused consulting environment
  • Experience in developing learning solutions for Intelligence Community agencies
  • Experience designing products that are Section 508 compliant.
  • Experience designing and developing SCORM - conformant content
  • Experience and working knowledge working in multiple rapid development tools (e.g., Presenter, Captivate, Articulate)
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
  • Strong written and oral communications skills

Desired Qualifications
  • Equally successful working on a team and independently.
  • A bachelor’s or associate degree in adult education, organizational development, instructional technology, or related field from an accredited (i.e., regional, national, or institutional) academic institution.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
