  • Master's degree required in relevant fields such as Women’s Studies, Counseling, Social Work, or Public Health.
  • Experience in crisis intervention, advocacy, and some supervisory/advising experience with students is required.
  • Preferred experience includes assessment skills, advocacy from an intersectional lens, and prior work in higher education or nonprofit settings.
  • Position requires collaboration with university committees and participation in regional coalitions on violence prevention.
  • Final candidate must complete a fingerprint-based criminal history check; position based in the Women's & Gender Equity Center at ODU.
