Job Description Summary
The IT Coordinator is responsible for supporting AGNR's existing web applications with a focus on maintaining the AGNR employee directory and broadcast mass email system. Serve as the point of contact for inquiries submitted to the "Contact Us" and "Ask Extension" websites. You will assist in creating and supporting new websites and applications for special projects for the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (AGNR).
• Maintain AGNR websites using the Drupal Content Management System (CMS) in
accordance with the University of Maryland's website design standards
• Update existing websites and applications, as necessary
• Research relevant technologies, suggesting their use on related projects
• Provide support and occasional training to users of our Drupal CMS and other web
applications
• Work with the project lead, other web designers, content managers, and stakeholders to
achieve unit goals
Responsibilities:
• Essential Duty/Responsibility (1): Maintain and update, as necessary, existing web applications for the College, remaining aware of campus systems that affect these applications.
• Essential Duty/Responsibility (2): Maintain the college's stand-alone online employee
directory and broadcast email systems with current employee data to facilitate internal communication.
• Essential Duty/Responsibility (3): Route requests and questions sent through the
college's "Contact us" and "Ask Extension" webpages page to AGNR's subject matter
experts and/or provide boilerplate answers to commonly asked questions.
• Essential Duty/Responsibility (4): Develop a knowledge of available solutions to users'
needs in the areas of data collection and reporting and be available for consultation.
Prepare and deliver training, as necessary.
• Essential Duty/Responsibility (5): Identify, manage, curate, and archive the digital
assets of the College throughout their life cycle.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: One (1) year of professional administrative or coordinator experience.

• Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.
• Knowledge of academic policies.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• Skill in the use of Google Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
• Ability to interact with internal and external staff at all levels in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in an IT-related field of study
• Familiarity with Web Content Management Systems
• Experience working with SQL, Microsoft Access databases, and/or data queries
• Web application design experience
• Experience managing website navigation, functionality, interaction, structure, and data flow
