Provide technical support and perform analysis related to the implementation and operation of networks, servers, personal computing devices, software systems, and services for the Department of Athletics. Lead departmental process automation initiatives and guide staff in the responsible adoption of AI tools to improve operational workflows. The position requires ongoing self-directed learning to stay current with rapidly evolving technology and university AI policies.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree and one to three years of experience in technology or a related field required. Four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft 365 services including but not limited to SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps. Experience developing or maintaining process automations using low-code platforms. Familiarity with AI productivity tools and demonstrated ability to evaluate and apply emerging technologies within institutional policy. Experience with enterprise software systems such as PeopleSoft or similar ERP platforms. Background in workflow documentation, business process analysis, and end-user training.

Anticipated Pay Range $27/hour to $30/hour
Other Information
This role may require availability outside normal business hours to address time-sensitive technology needs. Given the pace of change in AI tools and university policy governing their use, this position requires continuous self-directed learning and a demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving guidance.
Special Conditions A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), Background Check required for this position
