Description of Work  | The IT Systems Coordinator will manage the following: Device lifecycle management, including imaging, deploying, and maintaining end-user computers; administration and support of the college’s server environment; management of user access and permissions in Active Directory and Grouper; and providing advanced technical support for issues escalated beyond the CoB ITS Help Desk. This position will lead annual hardware refresh projects, support one-off device purchases, ensure the stability and security of server infrastructure, and perform access control tasks for college and university-wide solutions.

Minimum Required Qualifications  | Associate’s degree or equivalent education/experience and experience providing technology support. Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of computer and server administration. Experience working in Active Directory.
Preferred Qualifications  | Experience providing IT support in an academic setting and managing technology projects. Previous experience of supervising others in a technology setting. Experience with client management tools such as SCCM, JAMF, Intune, or similar tools. Experience working with third-party vendors. Experience working in a ticketing system. Demonstrated ability to lead a project or team effectively. Experience working with macOS and Windows computers.
