Lead PeopleSoft DBA Full Description

The Lead PeopleSoft DBA works with all stakeholders from technical and functional units to deploy, implement and maintain Enterprise PeopleSoft application systems (PS) and Oracle databases (DBA). The main purpose is to oversee PS and DBA system and architecture configuration; performing PS and DBA patching procedures while providing support to direct staff and assigning resources to support technology roadmaps for HCM, FMS, IH, and CS systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee PeopleSoft and Oracle database system and architecture configuration.
Perform PeopleSoft and DBA patching procedures while supporting direct staff.
Assign resources to support technology roadmaps for HCM, FMS, IH, and CS systems.
Provide DBA support for ancillary systems including CTRL-M, Hyperion, and OBIA.
Design and maintain technical architecture for distributed processing environments.
Manage PeopleSoft messaging, integration tools, certificate management, and security.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of related experience, or associate’s degree and 6 years of related experience, or high school diploma and 8 years of related experience.

Location: Richardson, TX. Hybrid remote work environment available; a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement is required, and employee must be able to be on the Richardson campus within 48 hours of notice. Regular full-time, monthly pay basis. Salary commensurate with experience.
