Job Purpose:
The role of the Team Lead is to be an advisor, coach, and mentor as well as to provide direct supervision to a team supporting business units. The Team Lead is expected to exhibit & utilize the leadership skills and characteristics to guide direct reports to expand our training process and delivery. In addition, the Team Lead is responsible for carrying out trainer duties including design, delivery, and follow-up work.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties
- Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate individuals to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through our training offerings
- Provide reporting on teams’ performance, metrics and goals
- Ensure expenses are aligned within budgets
- Continuously work with team to update materials, think innovatively and find ways to enhance the skills of the team members
- Create, maintain, and publish all training guides, online videos, quick reference material, user guides, and PowerPoint presentations presented via various media.
- Development of training standards and courses for all enterprise products under tight deadlines.
- Responsible for updating training documentation on new processes, process improvements, procedures, or systems and notifying the appropriate parties of the changes
- Mentor and coach trainers in the subject matter content and course delivery techniques needed to be successful
- Provide ongoing training on the job as required, including mentoring and coaching to other departments when requested and needed
- Collaborate with Product Management, Account Executives, and Account Managers on product penetration strategies, product usage and optimization designed to Increase product adoption
- Conduct in-person (at remote locations across the U.S.) and web-based trainings
- Administer workshops, webinars, classroom training
- Maintain knowledge of entire product suite
- Provide a written summary after each training session; internal or customer facing.
- Administer skill assessments, which gauge trainee understanding and ability to apply key principles through practical applications.
- Manage the classroom in an effective and efficient manner by addressing performance issues and any possible conflicts that could cause disruption.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong communication skills-verbal and written
- MS Office, knowledge and application of computer systems,
- Excellent writing skills (good grammar, spelling, and punctuation)
- Experience managing the classroom in an effective and efficient manner
- Experience building relationships fostering an environment of trust and confidence with employees and customers
- Ability to multi-task and manage several training course developments under aggressive timelines
- Good crisis management skills
- Impeccable time management skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Knowledge of Citrix’s product suite (GoToMeeting, GoToTraining, and GoToWebinar)
- Ability to travel up to 90%
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with applicable experience
- 5+ years of training experience to include:
- Managing On-site training and Instructor-Led Webinars
- Technical writing and/or curriculum development experience
- Experience using training and presentation tools such as Camtasia, GoToMeeting, and PowerPoint
- Experience uploading and managing training content within a training environment such as a training database, Learning Management System, or online video host
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Leading a team of training professionals
- Corrections experience
- SaaS Training experience
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally it may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.

- $83,715.86 – $95,436.08 per year (depending on experience)
