Position Overview
The Learning and Development Instructional Designer plays a strategic role in shaping the training and development framework for the Product Support and Customer Care teams. This position partners closely with departmental leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver impactful learning experiences. The role ensures training programs are aligned with business goals, product evolution, and performance standards, while fostering continuous learning and operational excellence. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Assess and enhance existing training programs to improve learner engagement, knowledge retention, and performance outcomes 
  • Lead the onboarding and training of new Product Support Agents, ensuring a consistent and high-quality learning experience 
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to design scalable, role-specific learning solutions 
  • Develop and facilitate training for new product launches and updates, ensuring timely and effective knowledge transfer 
  • Oversee the certification process for Product Support Agents, maintaining high standards of competency and compliance 
  • Continuously evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and learning analytics; recommend and implement improvements 
  • Maintain up-to-date training content in alignment with product changes and organizational priorities 
  • Contribute to training needs assessments and gap analyses for new initiatives and process enhancements 
  • Support quality assurance efforts by participating in calibration sessions and reviewing training materials for accuracy and clarity 
  • Drive continuous development initiatives for existing team members to support career growth and skill advancement 
  • Provide regular reporting on training impact and outcomes to key stakeholders 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals 
 
Qualifications 
Education & Experience 
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field or a High-school diploma with 3 additional years of experience 
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or corporate training 
  • Proficiency in course authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Microsoft PowerPoint 
  • Proficiency in managing and working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) 
  • Familiarity with diabetes as a disease state is a plus 
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment 
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or facilitating training in both virtual and in-person settings 
 
Preferred Skills & Competencies 
  • Experience in call center training environments 
  • Background in medical device or clinical training 
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Travel & Work Environment 
  • Occasional travel required for team events, training sessions, or product launches 
  • International travel up to 25% may be required at times

Additional Information:The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,050.00 - $127,575.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
