Job Description:
Supports the instructional delivery function including planning, coordinating, and organizing a wide range of training and learning activities. Oversees scheduling and training logistics for caregivers, providers, affiliates, and Community Connect partners. Facilitates technical support sessions with caregivers. Maintains training records. Collaborates with multiple departments to ensure ideal onboarding process for stakeholders. Participates in special projects related to Epic training and enterprise Epic implementations. Develops logistical workflows for team. The goal of this position is to develop into an Epic Credentialed 
trainer.

Please note that a video interview through Microsoft Teams will be required as well as potential onsite interviews and meetings.

Essential Functions
As a Logistics Specialist you need to know how to:
  • Supports logistics for instructional delivery function including logistics, planning, implementation, and support for courses. Schedules all training courses and same day class support. Supports the organizational intranet site related to ongoing content, communication, and maintenance. Responsible for the course management functions of the online learning system.
  • Reports on department stats and quality measurements, including class completion percentages, net promoter scores, learner satisfaction. Tracks project budget and oversees inventory of supplies and equipment for the team. Communicates training opportunities to the appropriate audiences, as well as publishing and updating a course catalog and calendar as well as the evaluation of appropriate vehicles for learning communications.
  • Manages projects regarding training needs and initiatives of the organization, coordinates with outside vendors and/or speakers, ensures availability of all training materials and confirms that all associates are aware of training requirements.
  • Works collaboratively with business partners and customers across all Intermountain Health sites to meet challenging goals for process improvements. Prioritizes project work independently to meet customer needs.
  • Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service behavior standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a Training Coordinator, Executive Assistant, or Supervisor Role is required.
  • Experience as a Logistics Coordinator or related position is preferred.
  • Microsoft suite knowledge.
  • Workday experience.

Physical Requirements:
  • Pharmacy/Office/Desk Jobs: Pharmacists, PSRs, Administrative Support, Food Service Specialists, Business Professionals, etc.
  • Ongoing need for caregiver to see and read information, labels, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
  • Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients and visitors require caregiver to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate supplies and equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
  • For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
