The Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for partnering with internal subject matter experts and the Leadership Development staff to design, develop, and deliver training for their assigned department(s) within the RxBenefits organization. He/she/they will be responsible for the growing needs of the department(s) onboarding programs and ongoing development of the team. The specialist will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of learning resources and training materials for their assigned department(s). He/she/they will work closely with the Leadership Development staff to develop materials and tools to ensure the proper onboarding, training, and ongoing development of RxBenefits staff.
Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
- Design, develop and execute key learning and development programs leveraging/demonstrating best practices in learning which may include incorporation of elements like e-learning, classroom training, learning communities, 1:1 sessions, action learning, and/or a blended approach.
- Partner with department representatives and subject matter experts to respond to needs for the design and delivery of training resources.
- Sit in on department trainings, meetings, and calls to better understand the needs of the assigned department(s). This may include working as a member of the assigned department(s) team to gain insights on the needs of the role(s) within the department.
- Proactively leverage technology, industry best practices, external networking, and alternative learning methods to continuously evolve RxBenefits learning and development activities.
- Design and deliver onboarding and employee development initiatives.
- Assist with the development and facilitation of ongoing and newly developed training initiatives.
- Manage ongoing course development/inclusion in the LMS for assigned department(s).
- Ensure linkages of learning programs with other HR and talent processes.
- Coordinate and manage assigned corporate initiatives, as needed.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in organizational development, professional development or equivalent experience
- Well-versed in adult learning theory and experience in its application in a work setting
- Demonstrated success in the design, development and delivery of innovative programs and products
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management and external partners
- Project Management skills and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks / projects with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a good business acumen
- Some travel is involved for team Summits/trainings
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office suite, video editing, and content creation tools
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment with many simultaneous projects

- Ability to travel up to 10% as needed
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in Org Development, Org Behavior, Psychology, Human Resources or equivalent
- Training certifications such as FIRO, DiSC, True Colors, CPLP, etc. a plus
- Learning Management Systems (LMS) experience (ex. EJ4, ThinkZoom, etc.) preferred
Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $67,200 to $84,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
