Job Description
Our Human Performance department is looking for a creative and innovative individual to help shape the future of our organization. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with the business to gather information to write professional articles, develop learning solutions, and build SharePoint sites. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, traits and characteristics:
Departmental Requirements
- Experience creating, editing, and administering SharePoint modern sites.
- Experience creating and developing learning content.
- Experience with eLearning authoring is a “plus.”
- Proven business experience to edit and write clear and professional corporate communications.
- Strong communications skills demonstrated through intake meetings and collaborating with business subject matter experts.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into lay language.
- Experience in creating and documenting efficiencies in process and business.
- Some knowledge of instructional design and / or adult learning principles.
- Experience with utilizing Artificial Intelligence to help create learning content and develop code.
- Experience with audio and video development.
Corporate Requirements
Recommend and implement technical solutions while leveraging best in class HR technology. Ensure solutions are aligned with business strategy and goals. Manage SharePoint content creation, enhancement and maintenance.
- Supports multiple learning and development initiatives from a content building, maintenance, and reporting perspective including enterprise business literacy and the maintenance of internal knowledge platforms.
- Manage the technical aspects of learning solutions from a day-to-day systems perspective including the management of user roles, security and permissions.
- Develop and maintain internal websites, using web authoring and content management tools.
- Execute project management activities such as conducting needs analysis, facilitating design review sessions, recommending solutions, testing and postproduction support for assigned applications or products.
- Writes, designs, or edits SharePoint content. Provide custom and ad-hoc reporting to HR leadership and other stakeholders.
- May select coding languages, design tools or applications.
- Assist business partners by answering questions, supplying information and training as necessary.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, system upgrades, and enhancements.
- Makes continuous improvement in key processes, techniques, and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Information Technology, Communications, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Three (3) years’ experience in a Human Resources or Learning and Development technical environment required.
- Three (3) years advanced SharePoint (preferably, modern) development and Content Management Systems experience required.
- Two (2) years of project management experience required.
- Prior experience working with Human Resources Information Systems or Learning Management systems preferred.
- Previous experience working with or on Learning and Development initiatives preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, i.e., MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and Excel.
- Experience developing web media, including graphics, logos and video. Proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications, including Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Illustrator.
- Experience developing and managing SQL and Server databases.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize, plan, organize, direct and meet deadlines as it relates to contributing to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability with a variety of web languages and platforms, such as SharePoint, ColdFusion, XHTML, HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript.
- Ability to quickly learn and integrate new languages, systems, and emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence.
- Ability to promote teamwork, collaboration, and build relationships within and across organizational levels and functions.
