We are looking for a dynamic Learning & Development-Fundamental & Technical Skills Development Manager to drive this transformation. In this role, you will lead the analysis, design, development, and curation of high-impact learning programs that empower employees with the fundamental and technical expertise needed for success. As we transition into a talent marketplace, your ability to assess current and future skills gaps and develop effective learning solutions will be critical.

You will oversee a mix of GE Vernova-specific training, partner-developed programs, and curated resources, ensuring an engaging and impactful learning experience that aligns with business needs.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement fundamental and technical training programs tailored to business goals.
  • Curate, manage, and continuously refine content to support fundamental and technical skills development.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create engaging and effective learning materials.
  • Leverage innovative learning technologies (LMS, e-learning platforms, AI-driven solutions) to optimize training experiences.
  • Establish and track key metrics to measure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Align learning programs with career development pathways, ensuring relevance to industry trends and future workforce needs.
  • Stay at the forefront of training methodologies and best practices to continuously enhance the value and impact of offerings.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs in a corporate setting.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and technical skill-building strategies.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), digital learning tools, and emerging educational technologies.
  • Deep understanding of the Kirkpatrick Model for learning evaluation and its practical application.
  • Strategic mindset with expertise in learning program design
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred:
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and follow-through in leading learning initiatives.
  • Ability to effectively engage with leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong execution and results-oriented approach with a focus on innovation.
  • Adept at building relationships and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Skilled in independent decision-making and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity while delivering structured, outcome-driven learning solutions.

If contracted in the US:

The base pay range for this position is $122,400 - 170,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. This posting is expected to close on 10/5/25.
