The Opportunity
Within Aeroflow, the Human Resources team is composed of 20 high-performing team members, focused on learning and development, employee experience, talent acquisition, employee relations, and more. We focus on providing exceptional human resources support and guidance to our 1,000+ employees.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, strategic Learning & Development Program Manager to join our team. This role will be pivotal in designing, implementing, managing and measuring development programs tailored for individual contributors, managers, and senior leaders. The successful candidate will also lead the development of our comprehensive manager development strategy and ensure its successful execution, including the facilitation of our annual Leaders Forum - an in-person learning and development event for managers. Finally, this role will define a skills and career pathing strategy to drive professional and technical skill development and mobility across the company - leveraging our internal learning platform, Aeroflow University, to drive skill development at scale and provide employees with opportunities to grow their career.
Key Responsibilities
Development Program Design and Delivery:
Design, develop, and implement comprehensive and multi-faceted learning programs for individual contributors, managers, and senior leaders. These programs are unique to each audience with catered experiences, exposure opportunities and education to meet the participants where they are. The intended outcomes are enhanced retention and internal mobility, and improved horizontal thinking.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning needs and gaps, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Define selection criteria and process, manage the communications plan and
- Architect program structure and facilitate learning sessions and experience to drive consistent, tiered training across programs; ensuring program is addressing identified gaps.
- Support program participants through the duration of the program ensuring their personal success and program value.
- Establish metrics for measuring the effectiveness of learning programs and strategies, and modify programs based on feedback and outcomes.
- Conduct regular assessments to gauge progress towards organizational development goals.
- Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
- Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
- Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality

Manager Development Strategy:
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of the manager development strategy, fostering management and leadership capabilities across all levels.
- Create tailored learning experiences that promote effective leadership practices and enhance managerial skills.
Annual Leaders Forum:
- Plan and execute the annual Leaders Forum, ensuring it provides value through engaging content, networking opportunities, and professional development resources.
- Gather feedback and implement improvements for future forums based on participant input.
Skills Strategy & Career Pathing:
- Evaluate and select the appropriate skill inventory to serve as the foundation for learning and development across the company.
- Integrate the skills inventory with internal systems to help drive clear career pathing and role clarity.
- Leverage the skills to build skill development pathways and programs as needed - focusing first on the most common denominators.
- Build and develop visual career pathways for employees to evaluate and interact with the various options they have at Aeroflow.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote a culture of learning and development within the organization.
- Collaborate with HR and department leaders to integrate learning strategies into the employee lifecycle and performance management processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on leadership development.
- Proven experience in developing and managing leadership programs, preferably in a healthcare or similar environment.
- Experience with leadership coaching, preferably across various levels of leadership.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of executing large-scale training initiatives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to assess training needs and demonstrate the impact of training on business goals.
