What the day will look like
 
  • Partner with Health leadership teams to develop and execute learning and capability-building strategies that support business objectives, colleague development, and growth priorities; serve as the key contact for Health learning in the U.S. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and people business partners, proactively identifying capability gaps and development opportunities that impact colleague performance and business outcomes. 
  • Collaborate with people business partners and business leaders to design and deliver integrated learning solutions that combine Health-specific programs with regional and national offerings. 
  • Leverage data to influence stakeholders, demonstrate program value, and drive adoption of learning and talent initiatives. 
  • Partner with other L&D leaders across Aon to develop and enhance learning programs, frameworks, and resources that address Health business needs, leveraging AI and emerging technologies to personalize learning and strengthen capabilities 
  • Establish governance and continuous improvement processes to ensure learning curricula remain relevant, effective, accessible, and aligned with evolving business priorities. 
  • Establish and oversee processes for training content management, partnering with appropriate stakeholders to ensure learning materials are maintained, updated, and effectively deployed. 
  • Measure program effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction through feedback and evaluation tools, using insights to continuously enhance learning outcomes and business impact. 
  • Monitor external market trends and emerging learning practices, recommending innovative and practical solutions to enhance colleague development and organizational capability.
 
 
Skills and experience that will lead to success
 
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR or related experience 
  • Proven ability and motivation to develop talent and drive engagement within the context of broader organizational strategy 
  • Proven ability to consult with and influence key stakeholders up to and including the senior leadership team 
  • Practical experience of implementing learning solutions and talent development practices 
  • Strong learning and development background, ideally within financial or professional services 
  • Able to deliver a range of soft skills (non-technical) content, as required 
  • Must be comfortable facilitating/presenting to and working with a mixed audience up to and including senior leadership 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within a busy, dynamic team environment 
  • Must be proactive, enthusiastic, professional, approachable, and flexible 
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), and knowledge of industry development and delivery tools – including virtual delivery tools (desirable) 
  • Advanced MS Office skills (desirable) 
  • Given suitable notice, minimal travel/overnight stays may be required to various Aon offices

Pay Transparency Laws:
 
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $100,000 to $130,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.


This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.  The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
