What you’ll do
In this exciting and pivotal role, you will become an integral part of AlixPartners’ award-winning, global Learning & Talent Development (L&TD) team.  You’ll have opportunity to use a consultative approach to create cutting-edge, personalized solutions to meet the ongoing growth and performance needs of our people and firm.  You’ll be joining an accomplished and professional organization during a period of high growth and you’ll have a crucial part to play in shaping the development experiences we offer. 

The L&TD Solutions Lead reports to the Learning & Capability Solutions Director and has a preferred location of Southfield, MI; consideration may be given to other U.S. AlixPartners locations. Paid relocation is not available for this position.
  • Take ownership of various L&TD solutions, products and campaigns – ensuring adoption, engagement, and reach
  • Operate within an internal consulting practice where building trusted partnerships and delivering exceptional value are essential measures of success
  • Utilize human discovery and data analysis techniques to fully understand the business challenge or opportunity to solve
  • Consult, influence and collaborate with stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and vendors to design and develop innovative, blended, capability-building solutions
  • Create engaging and scalable L&TD solutions by leveraging technology-enabled, multi-modal, and experiential approaches that drive tangible business results
  • Contribute to the evolution of our solution design approach including how we create, curate, and deliver development experiences as well as how we use cutting-edge methodologies and techniques to scale, deliver, and measure those experiences for impact
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual workshops as needed
  • Partner with the Talent Function, business leaders, People Business Partners, HR, and other key stakeholders

What you’ll need:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum six (6) years of associated work experience
  • Understanding of people and business-centric design practices and methodologies e.g., design thinking, human discovery, problem framing, data-informed design, and measurement mapping with the ability to apply these in the development of practical, results-based solutions
  • A consulting mindset with a passion for problem solving and results orientation and the desire to add measurable value to your business
  • Experience employing a holistic approach to skill and capability building, emphasizing exposure to real-world challenges, supporting relationships, effective tools & resources, in addition to learning
  • Curious with the willingness to learn and try new approaches within a feedback-rich and supporting environment
  • Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-regional workstreams along with the ability to facilitate and lead meetings effectively and
  • Ability to collaborate with teammates and stakeholders at all levels, across a complex matrix
  • Prior experience within a fast-paced, global professional services firm or similar environment is preferred
  • Prior experience with product design methodologies is advantageous
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Proficiency in use of AI as a productivity tool
  • Experience using project management tools and/or approaches
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, as required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Core working hours are generally 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday; willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
