Description

Responsibilities:
The Learning Portfolio Manager owns and manages the assigned learning portfolio strategy.  The Learning Portfolio Manager executes learning portfolio responsibilities, including stakeholder management, needs assessment, curriculum development, updates to training content, and learning solution effectiveness. They also contribute to high-priority initiatives, L&D process improvement efforts, and other team projects. The position is hybrid in nature requiring some presence onsite at the Rosemont, IL HQ.

Specific Job Function:
  • Works collaboratively with Flagship sponsors, subject matter experts (SMEs), dealer network colleagues, and HR partners to assess opportunities to develop solutions for their portfolio.
  • Utilizes instructional design skills to design and develop solutions in many different modalities such as in-person and virtual instructor-led training, e-Learning, microlearning, videos, gamification, problem-based learning, and job aids.
  • Acts as project manager for solution builds including project planning, creating timelines, managing stakeholders, and communicating to team members and stakeholders.
  • Acts as program manager by collaborating with SMEs and delivery experts to keep the portfolio of learning solutions current and relevant.
  • Partners with Learning Operations Manager on vendor management activities including budgeting, initial engagement, contracting, and vendor performance reviews.
  • Possibly could manage a small team of instructors.
  • Benchmarks best practices in the adult learning space.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Talent Development, Human Resources, Education, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate learning field.
  • Experience in adult learning and core instructional design models (ADDIE, Bloom's) for creating engaging, effective, and measurable training.
  • Experience using authoring tools (Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate), LMS platforms (SAP Litmos, Cornerstone OnDemand, Docebo), video tools (Camtasia), graphic design (Canva, Photoshop), virtual classroom platforms (Adobe Connect, MS Teams), and emerging tech like AI and augmented/virtual reality.
  • Excellent planning, instructional design, consulting, and process-orientation skills.
  • Travel ~ 10%

Target Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000 salary a year with the opportunity for eligible employees to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan.  Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.  Full-time positions are eligible for competitive benefits, including paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, disability benefits and 401(k).
