Job Overview: 
TopDog Law is seeking a Learning Solutions Specialist for a full-time, remote position reporting directly to the Learning & Development Manager. This role encompasses both Instructional Design and Training Delivery, thereby ensuring the development of engaging learning content and the facilitation of impactful training experiences. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in instructional design, adult learning principles, eLearning technologies, and classroom/virtual facilitation. 

Responsibilities: 

Analysis & Needs Assessment: 
  • Conduct needs analysis to identify areas for growth and skill gaps within the business. 
  • Collaborate with the training manager, key business stakeholders and leadership to align training initiatives with strategic goals. 
  • Serve as an expert in instructional design and adult learning methodologies to guide the creation of learning solutions. 
Design & Development: 
  • Design comprehensive learning journeys and curriculum frameworks that blend various delivery tools, such as virtual classrooms, webinars, and e-learning. 
  • Develop course content and e-learning resources, including storyboards, scripts, and multimedia elements. 
  • Utilize e-learning authoring tools to create interactive and visually appealing online courses. 
  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex information into effective and engaging content. 
Evaluation & Improvement: 
  • Design and deliver assessments that measure knowledge retention and application. 
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback loops. 
  • Establish and report on key metrics to demonstrate the return on investment (ROI) of learning programs. 
  • Prepare materials for regular updates to business stakeholders. 
  • Continuously refine instructional materials and training programs based on performance outcomes and feedback. 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field. 
  • 3 years of experience in instructional design, training, or corporate learning roles. 
  • Demonstrated ability to both design learning materials and deliver training in a professional setting. 
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE), and facilitation best practices. 
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar. 
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Workday, Rise). 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for clarity and learner engagement. 
  • Strong facilitation skills with experience leading live/virtual classes and workshops. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience with multimedia production and graphic design tools is preferred.
