Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or education related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in Sales Training or Sales/Product Enablement.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and business leadership stakeholders.
- Experience with instructional design principles and processes.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or graduate degree in Instructional Design or related fields.
- Learning design or strategy experience in higher education, EdTech, or corporate learning spaces.
- Knowledge of Google ads product suite, promoter tools and workflows.
- Excellent business acumen to inform curriculum development cycles with appropriate scope, anticipate resource needs, and adjust plans in real-time.
- Excellent problem solving skills, working cross-functionally on cross-product initiatives.
About the job
The Mastery Team develops and delivers product and skills training to Google sales and services teams, and external client and agency partners. We use our knowledge of learning best practices and Google’s business priorities to build effective learning experiences for our key audiences.
As a Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and implementation of enablement programs globally and across all sales/service channels for Google’s Workspace of product solutions. You will use data and design thinking to drive business results through designing and building multi-modal learning experiences. You will join a team that develops and delivers sales skills, business knowledge, and product enablement and business-supporting initiatives for sales teams and product enablement to our customer facing teams including sales, customer engineers, and professional services. You will focus on building a learner-centered strategy and driving impact by working closely across all relevant stakeholders (product, sales, service, marketing, enablement, learning) to secure buy-in for learning solutions to support front-line sales products and capabilities learning needs. You will ensure proper landing and execution of product and business knowledge programs globally that support high-priority business objectives and enable individual growth.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $113,000-$162,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholder teams (e.g. Product, Sales, GTM, Marketing, Engineering, Tools, etc.) to identify learning needs, define business objectives, and develop impactful product and business intelligence learning solutions for the Google Ads product suite.
- Apply design thinking and creative problem-solving to develop innovative and engaging, multimodal, learning experiences that incorporate product knowledge, sales skills, and business intelligence to drive improved business outcomes.
- Create engaging and effective multimodal learning experiences for a global audience, utilizing appropriate instructional strategies and content modalities.
- Manage complex learning projects, including scoping, prioritization, timelines, and resourcing, ensuring alignment with business objectives and learner needs.
- Analyze learner data, business drivers, and operating metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize learning content and delivery.
