Job Description
The Global Learning and Development Team at U.S. Bank is hiring a Learning Technologist. The role combines technical expertise, data-driven storytelling, and strategic problem-solving to support multiple learning leaders and elevate the learner experience. If you’re highly skilled and results-oriented with a desire to drive innovation across a corporate learning ecosystem, this might be the role for you!
Day to day work:
- Design and deploy scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to support learning operations and insights. Apply development logic to create intuitive, efficient tools that enhance functionality of process workflows across multiple platforms.
- Expertise on the critical interdependencies among product model system elements that help and hinder performance; ability to plan and design solutions that synchronize resources.
- Investigate root causes of learning challenges and propose process improvements. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement best practices.
- Analyze learning data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities. Build compelling visual narratives that inform learning strategy and decision-making.
- Navigate competing priorities with agility and intention, delivering high-impact solutions that drive business objectives and enhance learning outcomes.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. Actively contributes ideas, supports team members, and co-develops effective solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of experience in delivery and administration of education and training programs or related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with rapid solution development using low code development solutions.
- Experience working with a learning management system (LMS) or learning experience platform (LXP) is a plus, Cornerstone preferred.
- HTML, VBA, or JavaScript helpful.
Consulting and Influence
- Demonstrated ability to consult cross-functional teams by aligning business and learner needs with scalable digital solutions.
- Partner with learning consultants, instructional designers, and technical teams to co-create solutions using tools like Power Apps and Power Automate for workflow optimization.
Collaboration
- Champions a collaborative, tech-enabled culture by integrating Microsoft 365 tools to streamline communication and project execution.
- Communicates complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.
Data Analytics
- Skilled in using Power BI to visualize learning impact, track KPIs, and generate actionable insights from training data.
- Applies data-driven decision-making to continuously improve learning strategies and outcomes.
Problem Solving
- Adept at analyzing complex learning and business challenges, designing automated solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps to enhance efficiency and learner experience.
- Aligns solutions with enterprise standards, governance, and compliance frameworks, ensuring scalability and sustainability.
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
