At Humana, our Medicaid Clinical Enablement team is dedicated to designing, developing, and implementing innovative learning solutions for clinical associates across Medicaid markets. As a Manager of Learning (Manager, Learning Design) within Clinical Operations, you will collaborate with enterprise leaders and key stakeholders to lead a high-performing team in crafting learning experiences that empower our associates to deliver exceptional, person-centered support to members through role-specific care and utilization management activities. This is an opportunity to foster growth, champion a collaborative team culture, and ensure associates have the tools needed for success.
  • Design and implement standardized processes, templates, and learning materials to support clinical enablement across Medicaid markets.
  • Measure and track the effectiveness of learning programs, analyzing engagement, knowledge retention, and behavioral change to ensure meaningful impact.
  • Lead change and innovation initiatives by effectively communicating the case for change and fostering a culture that thrives on adaptability.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and emotional intelligence, promoting personal accountability and a commitment to improving the associate experience.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from surveys, focus groups, and business data to inform recommendations for continuous improvement of program content and delivery.
  • Apply instructional design, cognitive psychology, and adult learning theory to address knowledge and performance gaps.
  • Remain informed of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance learning and development offerings.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to automate and optimize learning processes, including program marketing, registration, resource management, and follow-up communications.
  • Plan for departmental growth and staff succession, investing in team culture and ongoing learning and development.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four (4) or more years of learning design, program design and/or clinical operations experience.  
  • Two (2) or more years of formal or informal leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in Articulate 360 Suite.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in one of the following areas: Business Administration; Learning and Performance; Education; Human Resources, Organizational Design or a related field.
  • Work experience in a health care and /or Insurance setting.
  • Experience working with Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plans (DSNP) and/or Medicaid health plans.

Additional Information
  • Workstyle: This is a remote position.
  • Travel: This role may require up to 5% travel for onsite meetings, which could include locations outside your state of residence.
  • Typical Workdays and Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), with some flexibility to accommodate other time zones. Specific scheduling options will be discussed during the interview process.
  • Direct Reports: Up to 15 associates.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

 $94,900 - $130,500 per year

 This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
