The Manager of Employer Development and Experiential Education will foster student engagement by promoting and facilitating participation in experiential learning opportunities, internships, cooperative education programs, service learning, research, and other high-impact practices. This position will facilitate, enhance, and expand experiential education initiatives for the university, aligning them with the overarching goals and mission of the institution. This role will collaborate with faculty, staff and external partners to design, develop, and implement experiential learning programs that provide students with meaningful hands-on, real-world experiences relevant to their career goals.

 Primary Duties:
Manage internship, co-operative education, and other high-impact experiential learning programming for the University of South Carolina. Serve as primary administrator for the Internship Program and the internship funding program for the University. Establish relationships with recruiters and employers; assist them with designing and implementing strategies for developing shadowing programs, externships, internships and co-ops. Develop and maintain relationships with academic departments and offices across campus to understand unique internship program needs.
