About the Opportunity
As a Manager of Professional Services HCM Solutions at Ellucian, you will lead a team of consultants who specialize in optimizing human resource functions for colleges and universities. You will leverage your deep knowledge of HR best practices and Ellucian’s HR solutions to guide institutions through the implementation and optimization of HR systems, from talent acquisition to performance management, payroll, and employee lifecycle. Where You Will Make an Impact
  • Lead and manage a team of professional services consultants specializing in the delivery of HR solutions to higher education institutions.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of Ellucian HR systems, ensuring clients achieve their HR goals through enhanced operational efficiency, streamlined workflows, and effective use of technology.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality HR projects, including talent management, payroll, benefits administration, performance evaluations, and employee data management.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HR solutions with other institutional systems and processes.
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to your team, fostering professional growth while optimizing client service delivery and driving continuous improvement in HR processes.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for complex HR-related challenges, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Guide clients through technical and functional aspects of HR systems, advising on best practices, HR policies, and system configurations to ensure long-term success.
  • Drive a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning within your team, staying up to date with HR trends, technology advancements, and compliance regulations relevant to higher education.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them maximize the value of their HR systems while improving employee experiences and HR operational efficiency.

What You Will Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in professional services, HR system implementation, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a management role leading teams focused on HR capabilities.
  • Extensive experience in human resources with a deep understanding of HR functions such as talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, payroll, performance management, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex HR projects from inception through successful delivery, ensuring that solutions meet client needs and expectations.
  • Leadership skills that inspire and motivate a team, driving performance excellence while cultivating an environment of professional development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address challenges with innovative, effective solutions, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Experience with Ellucian HR solutions or similar HR technology platforms, especially in the context of higher education, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and regulations, particularly as they relate to higher education and institutional environments.
