The Manager, Product Management, leads all product management activities for a particular segment of a major product line or a smaller individual product. This role manages a small team of Product Managers and/or Product Administrators to ensure the quality of an assessment delivery system.
Primary Responsibilities
End-to-End Product Management & Delivery
- Direct assigned team for end-to-end quality and execution of annual product delivery
- Direct work of Functional Centers of Excellence (FCE) to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Contract/Service Level Agreement (SLA) Fulfillment
- Direct the work of the team to ensure that milestones are met and contractual obligations are fulfilled
- Ensure that product delivery meets client expectations
- Ensure resolution of content and system integration issues to major milestones
Product Portfolio Management
- Oversee the quality control checks for the assessment delivery system and integration points with other required systems
- Ensure appropriate application of JIRA usage, Confluence usage, research as needed, test use, standards, etc.
- Facilitate and respond to client questions from regular reviews
- Manage and/or launch new testing concepts/extensions and strategies
Financial Management
- Responsible for monitoring teams’ time, approving time for them, and managing work according to the budget
- Monitor hours and allocated budget for quality-related activities
- Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function

Experience and Skills
- General knowledge of quality control processes, platform development testing, product development, is required; deeper knowledge and expertise in one of the three areas is desirable
- Prior experience with new product development processes and advanced product design and testing methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate staff and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver results with multiple and complex projects
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Education
- Advanced Degree in Education, Education Measurement, Product Content Area, or a related field strongly preferred
- 7+years’ experience in complex project management and/or process management is critical

- The base salary range advertised represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
