Job Summary | The Center for Business, Health, and Prosperity advances societal prosperity by integrating value-creating business innovation with health enabling practices. The Center is housed at the Impact & Prosperity Epicenter, a living-learning community that is home to students and professionals dedicated to a shared vision for the betterment of people and the planet. The Center leads Prosperity U programming, a transformative student experience focused on improving economic, social, and personal well-being across communities. Prosperity U hosts many events throughout the academic year including a speaker series, community and social events, book clubs, concert series, service projects, and other activities. The Student Experiences and Program Manager manages and oversees the planning and recruitment of education and programming functions including (but not limited to) degree programs and student programming and experiences for the Center for Business, Health, and Prosperity at the University of Utah. This position will manage Prosperity U programming, Prosperity Solutions, and Center Communications. Acts as a catalyst between departments, faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality programming and customer service. Coordinates intern scheduling and development in partnership with staff advisors to support student development and operational needs. |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Four to six years of progressively more responsible management experience. Background knowledge of hiring department’s area of specialization in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing employees and processes in order to effectively monitor and develop subordinates and to ensure the smooth operation of department. Master’s degree in a related area may be preferred. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description. |
