Job Description  | The Manager, Technology Strategic Procurement & Budget Management provides oversight for financial planning, budgeting, and procurement strategies within the Information Technology division.

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this role ensures compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations while optimizing cost efficiency and aligning technology investments with the university’s strategic goals.
This position is accountable for the oversight of financial planning for the lifecycle of computing devices, networks, and server equipment, as well as software licensing and monitoring cloud consumption spending.
Salary Range  | $52,105 - $54,189 - Salary is commensurate on education, experience, and internal equity.

 Required Qualifications 
Education  | Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience  | 3+ years of experience overseeing expense management, budgets, and procurement.
 Preferred Qualifications 
Education  | Master’s Degree
Experience  | Higher education experience, with financial or audit experience preferred. Experience in working with legal contracts and negotiation. Proven history of overseeing departmental budget and expenses. Strong work ethic, team building and staff-development skills. Effective communication, presentation, and critical thinking skills
