Marketing Assistant Full Description

Overview: 
The Marketing Assistant position for Utah State University Marketing & Communications will be responsible for supporting marketing initiatives and functions within the Marketing department. This position will report to the Associate Vice President of Marketing and will work closely with Directors and Managers across the unit to support and execute various tasks and projects. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Assist with implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, web, social, print, paid media).
  • Support organization and maintenance of digital asset libraries.
  • Support the maintenance of documentation of processes, templates, and best practices.
  • Support the administration of marketing technology platforms.
  • Coordinate semi-annual department inventory updates with USU’s business services.
  • Coordinate USU’s Kaysville electronic billboard: working with design team to create boards, manage content calendar, following up with organizations to add weekly boards, and serving as back up for the billboard’s live artwork management.
  • Monitor social media channels for compliance with USU brand and logo standards.
  • Coordinate various assigned marketing projects via Click Up management software.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications 
  • Basic understanding of marketing functions and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in project management platforms.
  • Experience/Knowledge of various marketing technologies.
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Two years’ experience in marketing and communications 
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with ClickUp project management
  • Experience with various marketing channels
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with quality control mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
