The Opportunity
Bring brands to life through unforgettable events! As our Marketing Events & Sponsorships Specialist, you'll play a key role in driving visibility, engagement, and growth across all of our family of ed tech companies: Realityworks, Realityworks AI, and CreXo.
In this highly collaborative role, you'll lead the planning and execution of tradeshows, conferences, sponsorships, training events, site visits, and other strategic industry experiences that connect our brands with educators, customers, partners, and industry leaders. From identifying exciting new sponsorship opportunities to managing every detail of event execution, you'll help elevate our presence, strengthen partnerships, generate qualified leads, and create memorable experiences that fuel business growth.
You'll serve as the driving force behind event success, coordinating logistics, vendors, communications, inventory, and event readiness while continually seeking innovative ways to expand our reach, build brand awareness, and deepen engagement within our markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the planning, coordination, and execution of company participation in tradeshows, conferences, presentations, trainings, and special events.
- Maintain the master event calendar, ensuring registrations, deadlines, presentations, logistics, and event requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate event preparation activities, including inventory management, product organization, picking, packing, shipping, and overall event readiness.
- Manage tradeshow inventory, marketing materials, learning aids, and event equipment, ensuring all assets are accurate, functional, organized, and event-ready.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, vendors, and internal teams to establish event goals, resource needs, execution plans, and attendee engagement strategies.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to maximize event ROI through lead generation, sponsorships, presentations, partnerships, brand awareness, and sales opportunity development.
- Build and maintain relationships with conference organizers, associations, partners, and industry groups to identify future presentation, sponsorship, webinar, and event opportunities.
- Maintain organized event documentation and proactively communicate event updates, requirements, risks, delays, and resolutions to stakeholders.
- Track event expenses, leads, revenue opportunities, sales impact, and post-event feedback to evaluate ROI, support planning, and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide hands-on event support, including shipment coordination, backup picking/packing/shipping assistance, process improvements, and other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Communications, or equivalent combination of education and directly-related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient with PC-based software programs and automated database management systems
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a sales or marketing environment
- Experience coordinating events, trade shows, or educational conferences
Work Location
- Realityworks is headquartered in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. This is a hybrid position, splitting time between working from a home office and working onsite at the corporate office
Travel Requirements
- Occasional (<10%) travel to trade shows and events as needed, typically 1-3 overnight trips per year
- Travel is typically by air
