Marketing Manager at the Jindal School of Management (JSOM), where you will take ownership of both traditional and digital marketing efforts across all programs including undergraduate, master’s, executive, PhD, online, and professional/certificate offerings. Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree with coursework in communication arts; two years or more experience in promotion work, marketing or public relations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred) Five (5)+ years of marketing experience combining digital execution and traditional/brand management Hands-on experience with email platforms, Slate/CRM (Salesforce preferred), and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace Proven ability to write high-performing digital copy and long-form collateral Strong project management skills in multi-stakeholder environments Experience in higher education marketing, preferably business schools Experience supervising interns or junior staff Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and FERPA/GDPR compliance

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning Develop and lead the annual integrated marketing plan and budget (digital and traditional) aligned with JSOM enrollment goals. Meet regularly with program directors (Graduate, Undergraduate, Executive, PhD) and center directors to assess marketing needs and priorities.
Project & Administrative Funnel and prioritize all marketing requests from faculty, staff, and centers. Oversee project completion using Asana, Trello, or similar tools. Manage marketing-related contracts, procurement paperwork, insertion orders, and invoicing. Maintain and update marketing policies and procedures.
Digital Marketing (70% of role) Own and execute paid digital campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, Reddit, and programmatic platforms targeting prospective students domestically and internationally. Manage SEO, website content updates, conversion-rate optimization, and Slate/CRM integration for jindal.utdallas.edu. Build and execute email marketing and automation campaigns, including newsletters, event promotion, yield campaigns, and re-engagement efforts. Set up and maintain dashboards and deliver monthly digital performance insights.
Traditional & Brand Marketing (20% of role) Assist in creating overarching marketing campaigns as needed. Partner with the Graphic Designer to brief, review, and approve visual assets (viewbooks, one-pagers, posters, banners, event signage, direct-mail pieces). Collaborate with the Social Media Manager on paid social creative needs, organic content calendar alignment, and major campaign amplification. Provide marketing support for on-campus and virtual events, including signage, programs, swag, and promotional items.
