Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | Assist the PI to craft the content of 5 interactive modules that lead OB providers in self-reflection, reflect on the systems in which they work, and in crafting their own action plans for Respectful Maternity Care and to develop an evaluation strategy for these modules and training toolkit. Assist in quantitative analysis.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience | Requires a master’s degree in area of research specialty.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials |
Preferred Qualifications | 2 years of experience and/or certification in maternal and child health, health communications, training, and qualitative research methods.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate qualitative research results into training and other presentation materials.

Job Duty | Review codes of transcripts of interviews with Leaders and Women to use those data to ground the modules in research and SC realities/ build on spreadsheets that collate significant quotes.

Percentage of Time | 20Job Duty | Translate the research to then outline and write content for each of the 5 modules including quotes and data from SC/Voices; reflection exercises that support participants to work with module material; voice clips/ video clips (Advisory committee members may be able to provide some 20-30 second “interviews” for clips), including from the monologues and full performance; content from major literature; and exercises that support participants to create a feasible action plan with 2-3 actions they commit to taking over the 6 months post-module. (60%)
