The Media Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing a broad portfolio of Learning Media projects, engaging in strategic planning, ensuring operational excellence, and driving efficiencies. With a growing volume of media production initiatives, this role focuses on strategic roadmaps, stakeholder management and communications, process improvement, capacity management, and the development of data-driven insights to optimize resource allocation and workflow processes.

This role creates complex product roadmaps, including those across the Academics and Platform Operations Team. This role collaborates with APO leaders, Media Functional Managers, and Product Owners to ensure seamless execution and support strategic planning. The Media Delivery Manager takes a proactive approach to driving strategic and tactical alignment, leveraging analytics to enhance decision-making and productivity within the teams. The Manager will track Media Team progress, milestones, and KPIs and lead the effort to champion this information with the organization.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Create a strategic roadmap for Learning Media and for the Academic & Product Organization, communicating with leadership and product stakeholders to prioritize and deliver media against operational and learner engagement goals.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration between production, creative, and strategy teams, ensuring alignment across media initiatives.
  • Develop analytics-driven insights, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to improve efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Gathering operational and performance data, leading data-driven decision-making to improve production workflows, optimizing output, and advocating with the organization for adoption of best production practices.
  • Oversee Media portfolio by tracking multiple projects across their lifecycle, implementing best practices in project and resource management.
  • Lead Media intake and scoping for an increasing number of media projects, ensuring smooth workflow, and partnering with product owners to understand, scope, and execute work.
  • Lead process improvements and automation efforts to enhance media production operations and support an increasing volume of projects.
  • Serve as team lead on Smartsheets and emerging AI technologies to create optimized workflows and improve efficiency, building and maintaining projects, trackers, and portfolios.
  • Proactively monitor project milestones and at-risk deliverables, identifying solutions to ensure on-time and high-quality output.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in project management software tools (Smartsheets preferred), providing training and guidance to team members.
  • Support operational budget management, ensuring projects align with cost objectives and financial targets.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 5 years in Business Operations, Product Delivery, or Project Management
  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools (Smartsheets or similar software).
  • Proficiency in business analytics, KPI tracking, data visualization, and process optimization.
  • High EQ and ability to manage multiple stakeholders across departments. Strong written and oral communications with a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Strong initiative, problem-solving, and leadership skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with media, production, or marketing.

For full-time positions, Kaplan has two Salary Grades. This position is Salary Grade B: $64,000 - $100,000.
