Reporting to the Vice President of College Advancement, the Media Services Manager is responsible for overseeing all print and digital marketing projects for internal and external college clients. This position provides timely and accurate information about RCC’s programs, activities, services, and faculty/staff and student achievements to the communities of the college’s service region and statewide, national, and international audiences. The incumbent in this position manages all media, communications and public relations projects for the college to promote commitment to the college’s mission and values and ensure that faculty and staff are well- informed. The Marketing Services Manager works closely with senior administration and deans to ensure that major college communications are consistent with strategy across academic and student services units. This role also assists senior leadership in responding to escalating media inquiries. In supporting the marketing strategy for the college, the incumbent oversees the performance of paid media campaigns and identifies opportunities for improvement. In collaboration with the Vice President, this position executes and monitors institutional media relations strategies to increase brand awareness and community outreach. This role also works with the Multi-Media Specialist to develop creative and written content for the web and social media. In addition, the Marketing Services Manager writes engaging content promoting RCC programs, services, students, faculty and staff, for publication and broadcasting in a variety of printed and online media.
