How you'll contribute to our mission 
As a Medicaid Client Manager II, you play a vital role in helping school districts maximize Medicaid revenue while navigating complex regulatory environments with confidence. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to clients, strengthening relationships, guiding strategy, and ensuring Frontline Education delivers meaningful, measurable value that supports educators and the students they serve. 

Through collaboration, insight, and thoughtful use of data and technology, your work directly supports school systems in sustaining critical services and programs. 
 
How you'll drive success 
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, facilitating effective communication across multiple levels of their organizations 
  • Execute defined key account strategies on a quarterly and annual basis 
  • Monitor and manage Medicaid revenue health across an assigned client base or region 
  • Consult with clients on Medicaid revenue opportunities and identify areas for improvement 
  • Communicate regulatory updates clearly and in a timely manner 
  • Partner with internal claiming teams to analyze denied or pended claims and support proper adjudication 
  • Provide detailed analysis of provider documentation levels, claiming validations, and revenue impact 
  • Support clients during state or federal audits by ensuring all required documentation is supplied 
  • Maintain full retention and renewal across your assigned portfolio 
  • Identify and communicate upsell opportunities that support solution growth and expanded impact 
  • Encourage client participation in feedback channels such as product councils, user groups, and surveys 
  • Develop referenceable client accounts and document exemplar Medicaid revenue use cases 
  • Provide regulatory clarification and guidance related to administrative code interpretation 
  • Manage clients across up to five states, including at least one XL client per state 
  • Manage and grow client revenue while supporting long-term success

  • Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior leaders and stakeholders within client organizations 
  • Strong relationship-building skills that foster trust, partnership, and long-term commitment 
  • Experience escalating client issues appropriately and collaborating cross-functionally to resolve them 
  • Thorough understanding of product functionality and user workflows to help clients optimize solutions 
  • Ability to execute client success plans aligned to strategic goals, risks, and performance metrics 
  • Proactive mindset that anticipates client needs and adapts to evolving priorities 
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and sharing client feedback to improve products and services 
  • Strong understanding of state and district standards, policies, and processes related to Medicaid 

What you'll need to thrive 
  • Ability to present and explain financial analysis using Excel and proprietary reporting tools 
  • Capacity to translate business needs into clear problem statements for internal collaboration 
  • Experience executing end-to-end client engagement models 
  • Confidence handling escalation conversations and conflict resolution 
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills in complex or ambiguous environments 
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication across diverse audiences 
  • Ability to work independently while staying aligned with broader team goals 
  • Written and spoken fluency in English 
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time

Compensation & Benefits
