The Manager of Mentorship & Student Experiences will play a vital role in shaping the future of students by overseeing the operation and expansion of the mentoring and network platform for students, alumni, and employers. This position will involve consulting and collaborating with campus partners to create programs and groups to manage mentoring programs, developing policies and procedures, and awarding professional development funding to students in need. Manage job shadowing programs that allow students to explore potential industries and occupations.

Primary Duties: In partnership with the employer relations team, identifies employers to host students from diverse industries. Manage all logistics, including marketing to students and employers, matching, communication, and safety measures. Implement and coordinate a value-added University-wide mentorship program to focus on student connections with alumni, employers, and practitioners for career exploration and enhancement. Manage the William L. Richter Internship Scholarship and South Carolina Internship Program to support student internships and experiential learning.

Develop resources to enhance communication between students and mentors. Onboard program and group administrators.
• Performance Management and Reflection: Develop and implement a performance appraisal framework for students and mentors. Monitor interactions and intervene as necessary to concerns or issues. Facilitate evaluations of interactions on a semester basis.
