Job Summary/Basic Function: | The multimedia designer is a strong visual storyteller who can utilize the latest technologies and superb design skills to consistently and creatively market the Wright State brand. Using an understanding of digital communication practices and skills with respect to graphic design principles, web design, marketing, branding, photography, videography, problem solving, time management, and adaptability, this role is an integral member of the University Communications and Marketing team and helps support the University’s goals and priorities. This role will work to enhance the Wright State brand with a strong focus on tying campus initiatives to the overarching university priorities and strategic plan. The multimedia designer creates compelling, innovative and results oriented materials and collaborates with other University Communications and Marketing teams.
Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree 3- 5 years professional experience required in creative/graphic design; Digital portfolio required (portfolio website or PDF under 10MB). Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, content management systems. Creative thinker in developing innovative ideas and solutions to marketing communication challenges. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders. Must be deadline oriented and able to manage multiple projects.
