Job Title: Account Executive
Location: Remote
Position Summary
The Account Executives' key responsibilities include identifying and building strategic relationships with U.S. small districts developing and qualifying leads, acquiring new NWEA partners, and expanding the number of students being tested within existing districts. They will also establish territory plans to drive sales activity and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities. Account Executives collaborate with the broader NWEA organization, including Marketing and Support, to ensure the needs of our partners are met effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and conversion of leads into successful partnerships.
- Prospect and effectively close opportunities for NWEA products and services.
- Achieve extensive account penetration within each district.
- Drive revenue growth by securing new, strategic, and large partnerships.
- Develop and execute a winning strategy for territory expansion.
- Actively incorporate partner feedback to influence NWEA's product roadmap.
- Serve as the primary liaison between partners and NWEA's internal teams.
- Advocate tirelessly for partners while maintaining alignment with NWEA's mission.
- Navigate complex sales cycles with confidence and precision.
- Stay informed on NWEA products and trends within the evolving education market.
- Leverage Salesforce to optimize partner opportunities and manage the sales pipeline.
- Present pricing, credit, and terms professionally and persuasively.
- Embrace up to 50% travel and contribute to the team's overall success.

- Excel in the role with or without accommodations.
Education and Experience
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in education, business, or a related field
- Bring 1-5 years of sales experience, ideally in the educational market
- Shine in initiating, acquiring, and growing
- Have a deep understanding of NWEA products, services, procedures, and implementation (highly preferred)
- Possess an intricate knowledge of the K-12 education industry and assessment methods
Physical Requirements:
- Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meeting
- Must be able to travel up to 50%

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 + uncapped commissions
