Operations Coordinator
Operations - Columbia, Maryland (Hybrid)
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Support Coordinator to provide essential support in maintaining accurate learner records, coordinating operational workflows, and ensuring smooth execution of internal processes. This role is not learner-facing but is critical in supporting the learner journey by managing backend systems and data that power learner-facing teams.
The ideal candidate thrives on organization, accuracy, and problem-solving, with experience working across multiple systems such as Salesforce, Jira, LMS platforms, and CRM tools.

Responsibilities
Learner Operations Support
- Manage Jira (or similar) boards to triage, track, and resolve operational requests.
- Update and maintain learner data across systems such as Salesforce, Alfred (legacy CRM), and our Learner Management Systems.
- Support operations by processing learner transfers, managing enrollment status changes, and updating completion records.
- Set up and coordinate recurring operational tasks such as Zoom class scheduling, credentialing opt-ins, and other program logistics.
- Partner with learner-facing teams to ensure timely backend updates and data integrity for their workflows.
- Communicate with University partner stakeholders regarding specific learner scenarios.
System Accuracy & Tier 1 Support
- Perform regular data audits across Salesforce, Alfred, and the LMS to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Serve as a first line of support for internal system-related requests, escalating higher-level issues as appropriate.
- Document recurring issues, solutions, and process updates to contribute to an internal knowledge base.
- Collaborate with Operations and Systems teams to recommend improvements to workflows and data management practices.
Experience/Skills Required
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, technical support, or data-focused coordination roles.
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and on deadline.
- Comfort with systems such as Salesforce, Jira/Zendesk, LMS platforms, or other CRMs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
