About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Chino, CA

Details:

  • In-Person Tutoring in Chino, CA
  • Schedule: 10 hours, 2 sessions a week for 1.25 hours
  • Pay range is between $25 and $35

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced tutor with Orton-Gillingham (OG) training and expertise in structured literacy.
  • Skilled in supporting students with dyslexia and learning differences.
  • Knowledgeable in foundational math, reading, and strategies for multi-step directions.
  • Familiar with supporting executive functioning needs, including organization, time management, and task sequencing.
  • Patient, structured, and able to break tasks into manageable steps to promote confidence and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized instruction in reading, writing, and math using Orton-Gillingham and structured literacy approaches.
  • Support mastery of multi-step directions and executive functioning strategies.
  • Focus sessions on homework first, then structured curriculum (TME) to advance grade-level skills.
