About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, youâll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Los Angeles, CA
Details:
- In-Person Tutoring in Los Angeles, CA
- Schedule: 10 hours, 2 sessions a week for 1hr 15mins per session
- Pay range is between $25 and $35
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced tutor skilled in supporting students with Autism or learning differences in middle and high school subjects.
- Knowledgeable in foundational math skills, Algebra 1 & 2, broader math concepts, and high school biology.
- Patient, structured, and able to provide clear, step-by-step instruction with visual or hands-on strategies as needed.
- Able to adapt lessons to the studentâs learning style and pace while maintaining engagement.
- Strong communication skills to provide guidance, feedback, and progress updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction in foundational math skills, Algebra, and broader math concepts to strengthen understanding and problem-solving.
- Provide support in biology, reinforcing course material, concepts, and comprehension.
- Incorporate guided practice, strategies for retention, and step-by-step instruction to ensure mastery of content.
- Monitor student progress and adjust lessons to address learning gaps and build confidence.
