About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, youâll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Schedule: 12 hours, 3 sessions a week for 1 hour
Pay range is between $25 and $35

Ideal Candidate:

Credentialed special education teacher with experience supporting elementary students with Autism.
Strong background in foundational reading, writing, and math instruction.
Skilled in phonics, sight words, sentence formation, reading comprehension, number sense, and basic math operations.
Patient, calm, and able to communicate clearly, allowing extra processing and response time.
Comfortable providing structured, step-by-step instruction with frequent positive reinforcement.
Experienced in using hands-on, visual, and multisensory teaching strategies.
Dependable, nurturing, and able to adapt instruction to the studentâs pace and learning style.

Key Responsibilities:
