Position Summary Information 
Job Description Summary 
The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the Advertising Manager and is responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to increase the publication’s online presence, engagement, and viewership. This role involves creating and curating content, managing social media accounts, and analyzing performance metrics.

Responsibilities  | Job Responsibilities: Social Media Strategy:
Create comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic to the website. Plan and manage the social media editorial calendar, ensuring timely and relevant content.
Create and Curate Content: Develop original content, including text, images, and videos Curate relevant content from other sources to share with the audience. Collaborate with the editorial team to promote articles and multimedia content.
Manage Social Media Accounts: Oversee daily management of social media accounts, including Facebook, X, Instagram, etc. Schedule and publish posts, ensuring consistent and strategic posting. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions.
Increase Engagement/Build Community: Develop and implement strategies to grow and maintain an online community. Create and manage contests, polls, and other interactive activities to increase engagement. Track and analyze social media performance metrics. Attend weekly meetings. Create/Send the weekly newsletters.
Marketing Campaigns: Work with the Advertising manager to develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the newspaper and increase viewership. Utilize various marketing channels, including social media, email, events, and partnerships, to reach target audiences. Work with an Advertising manager to design promotional materials and manage distribution.

Required Qualifications  | Background in social media marketing. Ability to maintain professionalism.

Desired Qualifications  | Proficiency in social media platforms and design software.
