About You
You’re a builder and a tinkerer, and you love helping to make things run smoothly behind the scenes. You have a sharp eye for simplifying the complex and finding ways to automate the boring stuff. You’re deeply experienced working with People/HR systems (like Rippling) and keeping data tidy, secure, and accurate while helping others understand what the data is actually saying. You’ll help to shape and evolve the systems and processes that support our team member lifecycle, making them smarter, smoother, and scalable.
What you'll do
- Manage our HRIS system (Rippling) by providing functional and technical expertise, including major system configurations, business process enhancements, troubleshooting complex issues, employing improvements, and ensuring overall data quality and integrity.
- Serve as a functional expert on reporting, including dashboard creation, data analysis, and assisting stakeholders with metrics. Comfortable with composite, matrix and trending reports, with the ability to create/modify calculated fields and business intelligence reports.
- Oversee data security and compliance across our People systems by conducting regular audits, being vigilant about security and access.
- Develop, test, and launch workflow automations to reduce administrative burden and improve the flow of data to relevant stakeholders.
- Design and optimize the systems and workflows for our employee lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience for all team members.
- Drive the development of scalable solutions for key People processes, including annual reviews and compensation adjustments.
- Improve data hygiene and systems workflows (e.g. onboarding/offboarding automation).
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance for system issues and integration errors.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting to align data systems, ensuring consistency of information across headcount planning, payroll, and other people-related data.
- Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in data management, security, and HR technology.
- Partner to contribute to and influence broader IT support as company needs evolve.
- Perform other duties as assigned; we’re a lean, flexible team, and you’ll adapt as needed to keep the broader People Team moving forward seamlessly.
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated experience in an HRIS or People Analytics role, preferably with software or gaming start-ups.
- Functional and technical expertise in managing an HRIS system (specifically Rippling).
- Expertise in managing overall data quality and integrity .
- Functional expertise in reporting, including dashboard creation, data analyses, and assisting stakeholders with metrics (comfortable with composite, matrix, trending reports, calculated fields, and business intelligence reports).
- Experience overseeing data security and compliance across People systems, including leading regular audits.
- Ability to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance for system issues and integration errors.
- Maintenance of knowledge of trends and developments in data management, security, and HR technology.
- Skilled in developing, testing, and launching workflow automations.
- Experience with cloud-based tools including Google Workspace, Slack, Notion.
- Experience administering corporate IT systems (provisioning, deprovisioning, integration).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator.
