About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented data analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and maintaining healthcare terminology data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including healthcare professionals, IT specialists, and product management, to support data-driven decision-making. The primary objective of this role is to aid in internal process automation, using Machine Learning and AI to support the development of scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate product data to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive healthcare data dictionary, including standard definitions, codes, and classifications.
- Performs mapping of clinical concepts to standard terminologies, including but not limited to ICD-10, SNOMED CT, HCPCS, CPT, LOINC, RxNorm.
- Design data integration strategies which leverage healthcare data exchange standards, including; HL7, CCDA, FHIR
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and IT specialists to ensure the accuracy and completeness of healthcare terminology data.
- Implement data quality assurance measures to identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Design process automation steps to improve scalability of knowledge management data assets.
- Create and maintain data mapping and transformation processes to ensure seamless integration of healthcare terminology data across different systems and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to healthcare terminology and data management.
- Educate customers on the processes, and procedures of best practices in knowledge management
- Provide training and support to end-users on the use and interpretation of healthcare terminology data.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven analytics solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Systems or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with using Machine Learning and AI tooling
- Experience with healthcare terminologies and classifications, such as ICD-10, SNOMED CT, LOINC, and CPT.
- Experience with healthcare data exchange standards, such as HL7, CCDA, FHIR.
- Experience with data management, data quality assurance, and data integration processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, is required.
