Product Trainer
Partner Services Cleveland, Ohio

Description
This position will require you to be in the Greater Cleveland, OH area
We are presently in a hybrid schedule, 2 days on campus and 3 days WFH
 
The Product Trainer is responsible for delivering world-class training and documentation to partners and end users in order to successfully engage them with OverDrive products and services. This position utilizes best practices in the field of training and development to create and deliver meaningful learning experiences in a variety of formats. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Co-deliver and co-facilitate online and/or on-site technology training for OverDrive products and services. 
  • Co-produce and/or co-deliver ongoing live library and K-12 partner webinars.
  • Co-create, contribute to, and/or help maintain OverDrive training assets, including how-to videos, eLearning modules, presentations, scripts, demonstrations, and job aids.
  • Support planning and follow-up activities for partner webinars.
  • Co-monitor and co-manage the Training team shared email inbox.
  • Contribute to team documentation such as Marketing requests, business processes, archival of team assets, and more.
  • Email partners in a timely and succinct manner, as needed.
  • Start learning and implementing training best practices and trends.
  • Contribute to team KPIs for account training and webinar attendance.
  • Build and maintain cross-team relationships.
  • Research, analyze, and apply best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.
  • Develop learning paths and denote differences and overlaps between self-paced learning resources. 
  • Design, develop, and deliver partner and end user courses using eLearning technologies and practices, including self-assessments, exercised and activities to enhance the learning process. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Communication, Business or a related field.
  • 1+ year(s) of related experience (library or K-12, training, instructional design, project management). 
  • Facilitate technology training with a compelling personal presence and style.
  • Strong verbal, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong writing/editing skills with an emphasis on technical communication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment with multiple and shifting priorities.
  • Aptitude for working with a diverse range of audiences.
  • Comfortable with digital media, web-based software, and mobile devices.
  • Comfort with one of more of the following:
    • Visual design principles.
    • Visual design tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva).
    • Video editing tools (e.g., Camtasia)
    • eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate).
