The University of Texas at Dallas has an excellent job opportunity for individuals looking to join the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science team as a Program Coordinator for the Institute for Data Analytics.

Under general supervision, the program coordinator supports the efficient operation of a designated program or project within the Institute for Data Analytics (iDA) by coordinating administrative processes, maintaining reporting systems, and assisting in the execution of daily operational activities to ensure alignment with institutional goals and compliance requirements.

Minimum Education and Experience  | Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience  | Demonstrated knowledge of applicable business practices, laws and regulations related to purchasing, payroll and employment. Experience using PeopleSoft HCM and Procurement software or comparable ERP system. Requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Experience. Must have superior organizational skills and the ability to effectively multitask daily.

Other Qualifications  | To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  | Develop and coordinate the implementation and ongoing management of special projects and programs in the Institute for Data Analytics Manage the E-Plan’s request tracking systems and provide phone support to E-Plan’s Tier2 data filers Functions as liaison to budget, human resources, payroll, finance, and other units Prepare purchase orders and other expenditures Maintains and reconciles the iDA fiscal records Conduct internal audits Maintain calendars and schedule meetings Provide guidance to departments, employees and students on policies and procedures Handle special projects as assigned Perform other duties as required

Physical Demands and Working Conditions  | May require long periods of sitting and/or repetitive motions. Some lifting (up to 25lbs) may be required for loading and unloading office supplies and/or receiving office equipment.

Additional Information  | Remote Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in-office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. You may be required to use a personal computer and other standard office equipment. Must be located within the DFW Area and can be on campus within 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
