Overview and Responsibilities:

The Coordinator for the Center for Business Analytics plays a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Center. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the Center's activities, providing administrative support, and assisting in various research and analytics projects. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for data-driven decision-making. The Coordinator will work with the Grants Manager and Writing Coordinator on University wide reporting on state and federal grants.  They will also advance activities related to researching, identifying, and assessing potential grant opportunities that align with the Center for Business Analytics
 
This position is Grant funded and is intended to be a terminal appointment, with funding scheduled to end in October 2026.
 
 
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Student and Industry Engagement: Coordinate guest speakers, case competitions, research practicums, and workshops (including for First Generation Initiative students); partner with Career Services and GeoSpatial Services to connect students with internships; support annual industry studies, summits, workshops, and roundtables.
  • Administrative Operations: Manage the Center’s calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate events, handle internal and external inquiries, and prepare agendas, minutes, and communications.
  • Data and Reporting Management: Collect, validate, and maintain research data; generate reports; manage databases; and assist in compiling data for state and federal grant reporting.
  • Communications and Outreach: Serve as liaison with departments and partners; prepare newsletters and updates; manage the Center’s website and social media presence.
  • Financial and Grant Oversight: Track budgets, manage procurement and inventory, ensure compliance with policies, and evaluate potential grant opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders.
Physical Demands
